My name is Della and I actually grew up being called Dellakadoola, a nickname given to me by my stepfather when I was about Five.
I am happily married and have Four beautiful children, born between 1982-1992. My entire world revolves around my family & Babies.

    I strongly believe that this is what life is all about.
I chose to be a full time Mum & had a ball doing just that!  My favourite times when the children were small, was teaching them to ride & care for our horses & dogs. I love to see little people making connections with animals! .
We have a large family and I have played a major part in many of my 15 nieces and nephews lives over the years.

Doulaing for me began in 1983 with the arrival of my beautiful nephew, however, my first proper Doula role came about in January 2001, when I worked with a lovely family, who had twin boys a 5 year old daughter & a very tired mummy!
I am cheerful reliable and extremely competent with both babies and children .There are some fabulous on this site references to verify this.  I have been referred to, by my clients, as “The new baby whisperer” & “ A complete godsend”. Both of which I can happily live with!!

Having completed  a 3 day intensive Doulaing course with Dr Michel Odent and Lilliana Lammers, in London in 2003, I felt totally inspired & more than a little broody!

I have participated in a paediatric first aid course and I am policed checked and insured.

My face has appeared in many magazines & papers, writing articles on Doulas. Mother & Baby being my claim to fame thus far!

I have recently studied Psychology & I am hoping to go on to study Child psychology in 2008.

I am a competent horse woman & have many years of experience with dogs too!!The very first time I saw a lady talking of her work as a Doula I knew that I had found my vocation.
